Surya Kriya
Surya Kriya is a potent 21-step yogic practice of tremendous antiquity, designed as a holistic process for health and inner wellbeing.

This doesn’t just work the body — it activates the energy that runs it, for stability in the body and stillness in the mind from day one. We practice it gently, with full awareness; the flexibility and the postures evolve naturally over time, and are never a prerequisite to begin.
1,750 hours trained at the source in India — the science, and the atmosphere it needs, transmitted intact.

A Method, Not a Mood
Classical Hatha Yoga is a technology for the human system, built by the original yogis from the way life actually works. They made it for everyday living, not for escaping it. The principle behind it is simple. When you do specific things, specific things happen in your energy, your mind and your health. To work, it only asks for the right conditions: a committed space, an unhurried pace and close guidance in person. Give it those, and it stops being a mood you chase. It becomes yours instead, a practice you can return to anytime, anywhere, for the rest of your life.
Specific steps in a specific order — nothing improvised, nothing approximate.
Energy, clarity, and physical ease that follow reliably from doing it correctly.
Learn it once, and reproduce it on your own — anytime, anywhere.
Start exactly where you are
We all start somewhere — and here’s the good news: it doesn’t matter if you’re stiff or not flexible when you begin. It still works from your very first session, because it acts on what’s happening inside you, not on how far you can bend. The alignment and the posture come naturally in time, with focus, awareness, and steady practice. You’re never compared to the person on the next mat — you’re not chasing a shape, you’re following a precise process that works just as well for a beginner.
That’s fine — flexibility is a byproduct of steady practice.
The science still works on you from day one.
Not a weekend certification — a 21-week, 1,750+ hour residential training at the Sadhguru Gurukulam ashram in India. I went to the source so the science arrives here intact: every process, every detail, and the conditions it’s meant to be received in. I teach it strictly in that pure form — so your system responds exactly as it’s designed to.

You’re supported the whole way — never left to practice alone
A practice only takes root through steady, daily repetition — so we don’t just teach you and send you off. Every intensive sets you up to see it all the way through:
Your mandalaA mandala is one full cycle of the practice — repeated daily for a set number of days, so it settles in and lasts. — the ideal cycle to lock the practice in: 48 days twice a day, or a lighter 90 days once a day. It’s a target, not a rule — practice as often as you can; even a few times a week keeps you moving.
A free weekly guided session — optional in-person support to keep you steady while you practice.
A free corrections class — the day you complete your mandala, we perfect your form together.
For initiated practitioners
Whether your practice has drifted or simply paused, Dan re-teaches it to its precise original form — breath, sequence, and detail restored.
Prior initiation into the practice is required.
Refine your form. A private session that brings your practice back to precision — most practitioners do one or two a year.
Restart your practice. One session re-teaches it from the beginning, restoring its full original depth.
Why It’s Worth It
A studio bills you every month, for years, and you never quite own the method. A program is a few days, paid once — then the practice is yours, at home, forever.

This practice
And it’s not just the weekend: the day you finish, your mandala begins — 48 or 90 days of daily practice, with a free weekly guided session and a free corrections class on completion. You’re never left to run it alone.

“I recently attended a Yogasanas session with Dan, and it was an excellent experience. Dan’s guidance was clear, patient, and encouraging, making the session suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners. The practice focused on proper posture, breathing, and mindful movement, which helped improve flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness.…
By the end of the session, I felt more relaxed, energized, and mentally refreshed. The asanas helped release muscle tension, improve circulation, and promote a sense of calm and well-being. One of the greatest benefits of the session was the positive impact on both physical and mental health. Regular practice can enhance strength, flexibility, concentration, stress management, and overall fitness. Dan created a welcoming and supportive environment that made the experience enjoyable and motivating. I highly recommend Dan’s Yogasanas sessions to anyone looking to improve their health, reduce stress, and cultivate a balanced lifestyle.”
“A very amazing place to learn yoga. Dan is an amazing teacher. He earns my highest recommendation.”
“He provided excellent service. He is always there to support me with any queries I have/had. He has gone above and beyond to support me.”
“I have gained a greater level of awareness towards my body and how it works, and I would highly recommend anyone who would like to undergo a transformational experience to get into contact with Dan and take a class.”
A drop-in class is something you attend; an intensive is something you learn. Over a focused weekend you receive a complete practice in its precise, traditional form — taught correctly, so your body absorbs it. You leave self-sufficient, able to practice at home for life, rather than returning week after week to follow along.
Yes — these practices are designed to cultivate flexibility, not require it. Modifications are safely taught.
Open to ages 14+. Strict empty-stomach conditions must be maintained during the weekend hours, detailed in your confirmation email.
Absolutely. Select any upcoming intensive, or reach out for a dedicated Practice Correction session.
A mandala is one full cycle of the practice — the same sequence repeated daily for a set number of days, so it settles in and becomes second nature. Yours begins the day you finish your intensive: 48 days practiced twice a day, or a lighter 90 days once a day. It’s a target, not a rule — practice as often as you can; even a few times a week keeps you moving.
While you’re in your mandala, a free weekly guided session is open to you — optional in-person support to keep you steady as you practice. When you complete your mandala, you qualify for a free corrections class, where we refine your form together. You can also book a paid corrections class at any time, and once your mandala is complete you can pay to attend a guided session whenever you like — prices and times to be announced. Track your mandala and register for sessions from your account: use Sign In at the top of the page.
A practice you learn correctly becomes yours permanently — no schedule, no screen, no ongoing fees. Practiced consistently it deepens over the years, building lasting energy, clarity, and physical wellbeing, rather than a passing workout you keep paying to repeat.
