Classical Hatha Yoga practitioners in a Mississauga studio

Yoga was never meant to be a workout.
It’s a precise inner science.

Given the exact inputs — and the right conditions to receive them — the human system responds with startling consistency: deeper energy, a clearer mind, a body that finally works with you. And you don’t have to be flexible or get it perfect: because it works on your system, not your shape, it starts acting on you from the very first session. I spent 1,750 hours at the source in India learning to transmit that science, and the atmosphere it needs, without losing a thing.

What is your primary focus right now?

A Method, Not a Mood

Most yoga offers you a feeling. This offers you a method — held in the atmosphere that lets it land.

The classical form is a technology for the human system, refined over thousands of years: specific processes that produce specific effects on your energy, your mind, your health. That transmission needs the right conditions — a considered space, an unhurried pace, close in-person guidance. Get the inputs and the setting right, and the results stop being a mood you chase. They become an outcome you can produce, any morning, for the rest of your life.

Exact processes

Specific steps in a specific order — nothing improvised, nothing approximate.

Predictable effects

Energy, clarity, and physical ease that follow reliably from doing it correctly.

Yours to reproduce

Learn the method precisely once, and produce the result at home for life.

Start exactly where you are

You don’t need a flexible body. You need the right process.

Here’s what surprises people: the effects don’t wait for you to get good. Because this works on your system — your energy, your breath, your nervous system — it begins acting on you from the very first session, stiff and brand-new as you may be. The postures refine over months and years. The benefits start now. You’re not performing a shape; you’re running a process, and the process works on beginners exactly as it’s designed to.

It works on your system, not your flexibility.
Stiff and brand-new? The science still works on you from day one.

Not a weekend certification — a 21-week, 1,750+ hour residential training at the Sadhguru Gurukulam ashram in India. I went to the source so the science arrives here intact: every process, every detail, and the conditions it’s meant to be received in. I teach it strictly in that pure form — so your system responds exactly as it’s designed to.

Included with every intensive

You’re supported the whole way — never left to practice alone

A precise process only works once it’s taken root. So we don’t just teach you and send you off — every intensive sets you up to actually get there:

Your mandala — 48 days practising twice a day, or a lighter 90 days once a day. The cycle it takes for the practice to settle into your system.

A free weekly guided session — optional in-person support to keep you steady while you practise.

A free corrections class — the day you complete your mandala, we perfect your form together.

For initiated practitioners

Already initiated? Return to the exact form.

Whether your practice has drifted or simply paused, Dan re-teaches it to its precise original form — breath, sequence, and detail restored.

Prior initiation into the practice is required.

Corrections & Reviews

Refine your form. A private session that brings your practice back to precision — most practitioners do one or two a year.

Reboots

Restart your practice. One session re-teaches it from the beginning, restoring its full original depth.

Why It’s Worth It

Learn the method in 2–3 days.
Reproduce it for the rest of your life.

A studio bills you every month, for years, and you never quite own the method. A program is a few days, paid once — then the practice is yours, at home, forever.

Studio, monthly

$170

every month · ~$2,000/yr

This practice

from $225

paid once · yours for life

And it’s not just the weekend: every intensive includes 48 days of guided practice and a corrections class, so the process fully installs — you’re never left to run it alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is a weekend intensive different from a drop-in studio class?

A drop-in class is something you attend; an intensive is something you learn. Over a focused weekend you receive a complete practice in its precise, traditional form — taught correctly, so your body absorbs it. You leave self-sufficient, able to practise at home for life, rather than returning week after week to follow along.

I’m completely inflexible. Can I attend Yogasanas or Surya Kriya?

Yes — these practices are designed to cultivate flexibility, not require it. Modifications are safely taught.

What are the physical prerequisites?

Open to ages 14+. Strict empty-stomach conditions must be maintained during the weekend hours, detailed in your confirmation email.

I learned this practice previously, or at an Isha program. Can I attend to review?

Absolutely. Select any upcoming intensive, or reach out for a dedicated Practice Correction session.

What is the benefit of learning one practice for life?

A practice you learn correctly becomes yours permanently — no schedule, no screen, no ongoing fees. Practised consistently it deepens over the years, building lasting energy, clarity, and physical wellbeing, rather than a passing workout you keep paying to repeat.
